Welcome to Rocky Mountain Retreats with Cindy and Donna! We are very thrilled that you will be joining us October 2-5, 2017!
We are excited to share with you the vibrational divine energy of Mother Earth in the Canadian Rockies.
Included in this welcome package is a list of what to bring, the itinerary and preparation instructions before your arrival at the Banff Park Lodge.
What to bring
- Clothing for a variety of weather. Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable. Dressing in layers is recommended. Some of the higher elevation locations are definitely cooler and would require dressing warmer.
- Good walking/hiking shoes. You will have a choice to walk or hike on various excursions so wearing comfortable footwear with a little bit of a tread is essential.
- Walking Stick/Hiking Poles- A walking stick(s) is a great option that we would recommend to assist in walking on some of the trails especially if they are muddy/wet/rocky. For those of you travelling long distances, most outdoor stores offer foldable walking sticks that can fold up in your luggage.
- Mat or towel to sit on when outdoors. Please note that we will have portable chairs for everyone when we do outdoor group work such as meditations/chakra clearing, etc.
- Umbrella
- Winter gloves, hat, scarf
- Hat & Sunscreen
- Swimsuit for pool and whirlpool
Canoe Rental at Emerald Lake
- Cost for Canoe rental is $60 per hour plus gst. Canoes can be shared by 2 people which will allow for a shared cost of $30 per person plus gst. We need to pre-register in advance with Emerald Lake, so if you would like to rent a canoe on Emerald Lake, please confirm your canoe rental below.
