Tej Dhyan’s love for Kundalini Yoga was a wonderful unexpected surprise. At a time when she was searching for more in her life and feeling depleted physically, emotionally, both mentally and spiritually, discovering Kundalini stimulated the process of recovery, healing, and awareness. It started to rouse what lies within everyone, that true essence. This was more than exciting. When she first began the experience of Kundalini, she was intrigued with how different it was from any other form of yoga she practiced. That intrigue soon evolved to reverence and a desire to make it an integral part of her life. With the uniqueness of every class and the depth of its reach, it began to have a profound effect on her life and awakened a complete shift in her energy and consciousness.

Due to this dramatic positive impact, it didn’t take long for Tej Dhyan to decide to become a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Her love and passion to help others is evident in her work life, in her dedication to serve, but Kundalini yoga allows for an access beyond this to her higher self and provides a platform to experience this with others. Something beyond passion drew her to share the beautiful side effects of Kundalini. An enthusiasm that continues to delight and a purpose aligned with an inner purpose of being and an outer purpose of sharing, have evolved from her own healing journey and spiritual awakening. Her intention is to elevate and inspire each individual to emerge into their own undiscovered “Kind of Beautiful” and true authentic self.

The technology of Kundalini Yoga is a science of the mind and body, to elevate the spirit, which has no boundaries, no discrimination. Therefore it is for everyone, universal and nondenominational.

Kundalini Yoga is practical and also very powerful. It is a yoga that anyone can practice to receive immediate results. It works quickly to give you grace, balance, and most of all the ability to remain calm, centered and clear through life’s challenges. As you practice Kundalini Yoga you can reach complete physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance. You will gain new perspectives and capacities, as well as habits that support a healthy lifestyle. The best part is, you don’t need any previous experience in yoga in order to achieve results as it is a practice done at your own individual pace.

Kundalini Yoga is considered the most comprehensive of yoga traditions. A class incorporates a dynamic blend of asanas (physical movement/postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), bandha (body lock), mudra (hand position), meditation (mindful focus), mantra (sacred sound) and deep relaxation all to shift your consciousness. The practice of deep relaxation at the end of the class, allows you to consciously integrate the mind and body changes which have been brought about during the practice of the kriya. This combination activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lung capacity, and purifies the bloodstream. Kundalini Yoga assists to balance both our inner and outer worlds.
